The police at the Bypass police station in Patna discovered the body of the wife of an army staff member in suspicious circumstances in a hostel room at a hospital. Although she was admitted to the hospital, doctors declared her dead. The incident created a sensation throughout the hospital, and the family suspects foul play.
The officer in charge of the Bypass police station, Abhishek Ranjan, confirmed the discovery of the body of the OT (Operation Theatre) staff member from a room at a hospital in Patna under suspicious circumstances. He stated that the cause of death would be revealed after the post-mortem report. The police have sent the body to the Nalanda Medical College Hospital in Patna for post-mortem examination.
According to information received, Deep Shikha Kumari, aged 27, worked as an OT staff member at the Big Apollo Spectra Hospital in Patna. Her husband, Rajan Trivedi, works as an OT assistant in the army and is stationed at the Tawang Hospital near the India-China border.
Deep Shikha’s father, Manoj Kumar, a resident of Saraiya Muzaffarpur, stated that she got married to Rajan Trivedi in 2020. He mentioned that Deep Shikha was supposed to go to Lucknow to take a nursing exam on Saturday. She had been working as an OT staff member at the Big Apollo Spectra Hospital for the past two years. He suspects that Deep Shikha was murdered.
The post-mortem report will reveal more details about the incident. The investigating police officer, PSI Soni Kumari, mentioned that there were no signs of any kind of injury on Deep Shikha’s body. The case does not appear to be a suicide. She added that the truth will be revealed after the post-mortem report.
