Ranchi: TET-pass para teachers, who have been protesting near Raj Bhavan for the past two months, were stopped from encircling the CM House. As per the pre-determined plan, they were about to start their protest at Raj Bhavan when the administration stopped them and barricaded the Jakir Hussain Park protest site. Following this, all the protesting para teachers began shouting slogans and sat at the barricaded site. During this time, discussions were held with administrative officials.
Para teachers demand permanent jobs and regular pay scale. They have been protesting for the past two months near Raj Bhavan. They have also been demanding the implementation of the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) pass rule, which requires them to be given preference in teacher appointments. The para teachers have vowed to continue their protest until their demands are met.
The administration has been trying to handle the situation peacefully and has held several meetings with the teachers. However, the para teachers have expressed their dissatisfaction with the discussions and have continued their protest. The para teachers have received support from various organizations and political parties. They have been staging protests and demonstrations to draw attention to their demands. The administration is now faced with the challenge of resolving the issue and addressing the concerns of the para teachers to maintain peace and harmony in the region.
