Abduction of a 17-year-old girl in Bettiah
An incident of abduction of a 17-year-old girl has come to light in Bettiah. The incident took place in a village in the Yogapatti police station area of the district. The mother of the abducted girl has filed a complaint with the police seeking justice. In response to the mother’s application, the police have taken action.
Details of the incident
According to the FIR filed by the girl’s mother, on the evening of May 28, her 17-year-old daughter had gone to relieve herself in the eastern part of the village. During this time, Lalleshwar Mahato, a 45-year-old man from the same village, along with two other accomplices, forcibly covered the girl’s mouth with a cloth, put her in a Bolero car, and fled. Upon receiving information about the girl’s abduction from the villagers, she went to the accused’s house to lodge a complaint.
Physical assault on the girl
When she went to the accused’s house to lodge a complaint, Lalleshwar Mahato, along with his father Mathura Mahato, Lalmoni Devi, Manish Kumar, and Tunni Kumari, started physically assaulting her. The accused beat her mercilessly, causing her injuries. Following this, her relatives took her to the hospital for treatment, where she is currently undergoing medical care. The woman claims that the accused abducted her daughter to sell her in the flesh trade market.
Police action and investigation
SDPO Sadar-2 Rajneekant Priyadarshi mentioned that the police have taken action based on the mother’s complaint and are investigating the matter. The accused individuals are being sought after for their involvement in the abduction and assault of the girl. The police are working towards bringing the perpetrators to justice and ensuring the safety and well-being of the victim.
बेतिया में एक 17 साल की किशोरी का अपहरण कर लेने का मामला सामने आया है। इस मामले में किशोरी की मां ने पुलिस को आवेदन देकर न्याय की गुहार लगाई है। FIR में बताया गया है कि उसकी बेटी को गांव के लालेश्वर महतो और उसके साथी ने अपहरण किया और मारपीट की। इसके बाद उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। मामले में जांच जारी है।
