Teenage Girl Shot Dead in Masaurhi, Patna

A shocking incident of murder has been reported from Masaurhi, Patna, where a teenage girl was shot dead in broad daylight. The incident took place just 500 meters away from the police station, near Manichak Mod in Masaurhi. The criminals targeted a coaching-going student and shot her, killing her instantly. The bullet hit the girl’s temple, resulting in her death on the spot.

Victim Identified as Kamlesh Kumar’s Daughter Anamika

The victim has been identified as Anamika, the 17-year-old daughter of Kamlesh Kumar, a resident of Nadwan Chapaur Kajichak. It is said that Anamika used to come to Masaurhi from her village for her studies and was on her way to coaching on Monday when she was shot dead. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the crime scene and took the body into custody, later shifting it to the Anumandal Hospital where doctors declared her dead.

Investigation Underway, Culprit on the Run

The motive behind the incident is yet to be determined, but it is reported that the assailant fled towards Patel Nagar after shooting the girl. The police have cordoned off the Patel Nagar area along with conducting an investigation at the crime scene. With a series of incidents occurring in Masaurhi, it remains to be seen how soon the police can apprehend the culprits. The police have informed the relatives of the victim and are currently conducting further investigations.
