In Motihari, a teenager was killed after being shot in a harrowing incident. The incident took place in Sisahni village of the Pakri Dayal police station area. After the incident, panic spread in the area and a crowd gathered. The police arrived at the scene and started investigating. However, the relatives have hidden the body of the teenager and are not willing to speak about it.
Gunfire Breaks Out Suddenly at Wedding Procession
As soon as the information was received, Subodh Kumar, the Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police, started investigating the case. The villagers claim that it was the wedding of the granddaughter of the former head of Sisahni Panchayat, Ramvati Devi. Gunfire broke out suddenly at the entrance of the wedding procession, and a bullet hit the teenager, causing his death. The deceased has been identified as Govind Kumar, the son of Jai Kishun Paswan, who was seven years old.
Police Interrogating Two Suspects in Custody
The police have taken two suspects into custody and are questioning them. Despite attempts to stop the shooting, a bullet was fired. The investigation is ongoing to determine which gun was used to fire the bullet. If the bullet was fired from an unlicensed firearm, the license will be immediately revoked. Another boy is also reported to have been injured in the shooting. His identity has not been confirmed yet. The police state that further action will be taken in the case.
