In response to the BJP’s criticism, Tejashwi Yadav defended his father’s actions, stating that playing badminton or exercising does not necessarily indicate complete health. He argued that being put in jail would only worsen his father’s health condition, despite his active lifestyle.
Court matter and Lalu Yadav’s health
Tejashwi Yadav emphasized that the issue concerning Lalu Yadav is a matter for the court to decide, and therefore, they will address it in the appropriate legal forum. Regarding his father’s badminton playing, Tejashwi explained that certain activities need to be avoided after undergoing medical treatment. He stated that Lalu Ji is currently on medication and has only played badminton casually. Tejashwi highlighted that putting every sick person in the hospital would not be a practical solution.
Condition of the country and RJD’s office space
Tejashwi Yadav expressed concern over the state of the country, claiming that it is falling behind even Bangladesh and will soon lag behind Nepal. He visited the RJD state office in Patna and pointed out the limited space available for political parties. Tejashwi mentioned that even when they were in opposition, they had requested for more office space, but the issue remains unresolved.
Development in Bihar and job creation
Responding to the BJP’s accusation that development is lacking in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav questioned the central government’s promises of providing 2 crore jobs. He highlighted that only 5 lakh jobs were created in a few departments, despite Bihar’s infrastructure being ranked number one. Tejashwi criticized the overall condition of the country under the BJP government.
