Reason Behind the Wheelchair

Many people are asking why Tejashwi Yadav is using a wheelchair. According to reports, he suffered a foot injury on January 25, 2026. His toenail was broken and torn after he accidentally hit his foot against something. This caused significant pain and difficulty in walking for the young leader.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) shared photos of his injury on the night of February 1. They wanted to inform the public about his health condition before the session started. Even with the injury, he decided to attend the assembly to hear Governor Arif Mohammad Khan’s address during the joint session.

Updates on Bihar Budget Session

The Budget Session started with the Governor’s speech. Finance Minister Bijendra Yadav is scheduled to present the state budget for the fiscal year 2026–27 on February 3. The opposition party used this time to raise their voice on issues like the NEET student case and law and order problems in Bihar.

Some members of the ruling NDA questioned the timing of the injury. However, RJD leaders stated that Tejashwi Yadav came to the house to fulfill his duty despite being in pain. Legislative rules allow members with medical conditions to use wheelchairs and elevators to ensure they can participate in the house work.
