Tension between two groups in Bihar
On Tuesday night in Baniya Tola, Barari, Bhagalpur, tension escalated suddenly between two groups. The situation worsened and turned more dangerous. Upon receiving information, police from about half a dozen stations along with senior police officers and administrative officials reached the scene. After much effort, both groups were pacified, leading to the entire area being converted into a police camp.
Dispute sparked among children
According to information, a dispute broke out among children playing in Baniya Tola, Barari on Tuesday evening. Some children were injured in the scuffle. Family members of children from both groups also arrived at the scene. The situation escalated rapidly, leading to a violent altercation between the two groups.
Police intervention
The matter was reported to the Barari police. The police patrol vehicle rushed to the scene to try and calm the situation. However, when the situation did not improve, senior officials were informed. Subsequently, police from about half a dozen stations, along with senior police and administrative officials, arrived at the scene and managed to restore peace.
Area turned into a police camp
Regarding the incident, a statement has been issued on the police’s social media stating that a dispute among children in Baniya Tola, Barari led to tension between two groups. The Barari police, along with the Rapid Action Force, Special Task Force, and Dial 112 team, reached the scene to control the situation. Sub-divisional officials and sub-divisional police officers also arrived at the scene and held a meeting with the peace committee and both groups’ family members to resolve the matter. Police forces, including law enforcement officials, have been deployed at the scene. The situation is currently under control.
