Theft in Two Houses in Chakai Thana Area of Jamui

In a recent incident, theft has been reported in two houses in the Petar Pahadi Panchayat of Urwa village in Jamui. The stolen items amount to more than two lakh rupees. The victims have filed a complaint at the Chakai police station and an investigation is underway. Since the incident, people in the area have been forced to stay awake at night.

Details of the Incident

Urwa village resident Bonga Sah explained that due to the intense heat, the entire family was sleeping on the roof. In the meantime, the thieves arrived, broke the lock, and went unnoticed. In the morning, it was discovered that cash, silver and gold jewelry, valuable utensils, and clothes worth 65 thousand rupees had been stolen.

Police Investigation

The thieves threw the stolen items in a box into the dry pond nearby while fleeing. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police from Chakai station have arrived at the scene and are investigating the entire case. It is worth mentioning that on Sunday night, unknown thieves had committed theft at the house of Urwa resident Bulloo Verma.
