Thieves Create Chaos in Motihari, Bihar
In the midst of the intense cold wave in Bihar, clever thieves have taken advantage of the freezing temperatures to create havoc. The latest incident occurred in Motihari, where thieves broke into three jewelry stores and stole jewelry and cash worth two crore rupees. This is not an isolated incident, as there have been numerous cases of thefts by thieves in the East Champaran district recently.

Thieves Strike Multiple Times in Nagar Thana Area
Within 48 hours, cunning thieves carried out three major thefts in the Nagar Thana area. They cut through the shutter of New Raj Jewelers, located in Anand Market at Balua Chawk, and stole jewelry worth approximately 1.5 crore rupees, along with 8 lakh rupees in cash. The thieves also tampered with the CCTV cameras in the store to avoid detection.

Police Investigate and Collect Evidence
Upon receiving information about the theft, ASP Raj led a team of police officers to investigate the crime scene. The store owner, Abhishek Ranjan, discovered the tampered CCTV cameras and immediately informed the police. The police found that the thieves had scattered the stolen items inside the store and had targeted all the CCTV cameras in the market, making it difficult to identify them. The police are currently examining the CCTV footage and working towards apprehending the culprits.
