बिहार स्कूल अवकाश: स्कूली बच्चों से लेकर शिक्षकों तक, सभी त्योहारी अवकाश का इंतजार करते हैं। लेकिन इस बार बिहार में कई महत्वपूर्ण त्योहारों पर अवकाशों को समाप्त कर दिया गया है और कई कम कर दिए गए हैं। राज्य शिक्षा विभाग के सचिव के.के. पाठक ने कुछ दिन पहले प्राथमिक से हाई स्कूलों में अवकाशों को कम करने के लिए एक आदेश जारी किया है। दिसंबर तक स्कूलों में विभिन्न त्योहारों पर कुल 23 अवकाश होने थे। लेकिन अब इनकी संख्या को केवल 11 में कम कर दिया गया है।
अब तक दुर्गा पूजा में छह अवकाश थे। लेकिन अब रविवार को जोड़कर उनकी संख्या को केवल तीन दिनों तक कम कर दिया गया है। इसी तरह, दिवाली, चित्रगुप्ता पूजा, भैया दूज और छठ पूजा की छुट्टियां 13 से 21 नवंबर तक घोषित की गई थीं। लेकिन अब इसे सिर्फ चार दिनों तक कम कर दिया गया है।
छठ पूजा के दौरान, बिहार के सबसे बड़े त्योहार पर, अब केवल दो दिन की छुट्टी, रविवार समेत उपलब्ध होगी। पहले, दिवाली, चित्रगुप्त पूजा, भैयादूज और छठ पूजा पर 10 दिन की छुट्टी दी जाती थी। लेकिन इसमें बड़ी कटौती की गई है। इसमें दिवाली पर रविवार समेत दो दिन, चित्रगुप्त पूजा के अवसर पर एक दिन की छुट्टी दी जाएगी।
दुर्गा पूजा भी बिहार में एक महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है। इस अवसर पर केवल तीन दिन की छुट्टी होगी। जिसमें रविवार भी शामिल है। इस तरह, दुर्गा पूजा पर 22 अक्टूबर से 24 अक्टूबर तक अवकाश होगी। इसके अलावा, स्कूलों को अनंत चतुर्दशी / हजरत मोहम्मद साहेब के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर केवल एक दिन की छुट्टी होगी। छेल्लम के अवसर पर भी 5 सितंबर को केवल एक दिन की छुट्टी होगी।
