The bodies of three minor girls from Muzaffarpur were found near a railway line in Mathura. One of the girls had a tag of a tailor from Muzaffarpur on her clothes, which helped the police identify them. The Mathura police contacted the police in Muzaffarpur and informed their families about the tragic incident.

It was revealed that the girls had come in contact with each other six months ago and were involved in religious activities together.
