What’s inside:
This article informs about the new toll tax that travelers will have to pay when going from Patna to Arrah.
Traveling from Patna to Arrah by road is going to cost more. Two new toll plazas are being set up on this route, which means you’ll need to pay toll tax at both places during your journey.
The first toll plaza will be located near Bishunpura on the Danapur-Bihta elevated road, while the second one will be set up after crossing the Koilwar bridge. These plazas will be about 15 kilometers apart from each other.
With these new tolls, passengers can expect to spend more money on their trips. Normally, tolls are charged every 60 kilometers on highways, but because the Danapur-Bihta road is a special project, it needs its own toll plazas.
Authorities have noted that with ongoing developments in Bihta, like an airport and an education hub, traffic from Patna to Bihta is increasing. To avoid raising fees at the Koilwar toll that would burden Ara-Buxar commuters, a new toll near Bihta became necessary.
There are also discussions about changing the location of the Didarganj toll plaza due to the new JP Ganga Path, which allows vehicles to bypass the toll. Adjustments may be made soon to ensure all vehicles contribute to the toll tax.
Summary:
- New toll plazas are being built on the Patna to Arrah route.
- One plaza is near Bishunpura and the other after the Koilwar bridge.
- Travelers will face increased costs due to these tolls.
- Traffic is expected to grow due to developments in Bihta.
- Changes to the Didarganj toll plaza location are being considered.
