Ramsevak Baitha, who was 55 years old, lived in Shankarpur and worked at the Middle School in Hasanpur. The accident took place near the Singhia Ghat railway station when he was walking to catch a train after getting off a bike.

On Thursday night, after completing his election responsibilities in the Mohiuddin Nagar area, he was on his way to a friend’s house. Unfortunately, while walking towards the station, he was struck by the ‘Vande Bharat Express’ train and died instantly.

The local police identified him using his election I.D. card and informed his family. They have completed the necessary paperwork and sent his body for post-mortem examination. The Railway Station Head Inspector confirmed the accident and mentioned that they have opened an investigation into the matter.

Following this tragic event, the police have registered a case and are looking further into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The community is in shock over the loss of the teacher who was dedicated to his duty.
