Both friends were on their way to Hajipur for some work when this unfortunate incident happened. Manjeet, who lived in Dawood Nagar, was just 18 years old. Sunny, the injured youth, also hailed from the same village and is the son of Mithilesh Singh. They left home together without telling their families what they were up to.

Sunny had taken leave from his job at an egg factory earlier in the day due to a stomach ache. His father, Mithilesh Singh, was unaware that Sunny would go out with his friend on the bike. The family was shattered when they received the news of the accident shortly after Sunny left home.

After the accident, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving behind the damaged vehicle. Local people quickly gathered after hearing about the crash. Police from nearby stations arrived and managed to control the situation. They took Sunny to Sadar Hospital in Hajipur for treatment and also secured Manjeet’s body.

The police have seized the vehicle involved in the accident and are now searching for the driver and the owner using the vehicle’s number plate. This investigation is crucial to hold the responsible party accountable for this tragic event.
