A recent accident in Patna, Bihar, has left the community shocked. On Jhakhari Mahadev Road in Danapur, a car lost control and caused a serious incident, killing one elderly man and injuring five others. The police are currently investigating the situation.

The incident occurred when a car, speeding at around 60-70 km/hr, veered into the wrong lane. CCTV footage shows the car hitting four people who were standing by the roadside. It tragically also ran over a dog. The driver did not stop and fled the scene while continuing to cause harm.

Chansi Rai, the 60-year-old man who was hit, suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Military Hospital. Due to his critical condition, he was later transferred to a private hospital in Raja Bazar, where he unfortunately passed away during treatment. The other five injured individuals are receiving medical care.

The local police and traffic authorities quickly arrived at the accident site after being informed. They reviewed CCTV footage and found that the driver escaped towards Marine Drive. The traffic police are now working to track down the driver using the vehicle’s registration number.

As the investigation continues, the community is in mourning for the victims. Authorities are urging drivers to be more cautious on the roads to prevent such tragic accidents in the future.
