The water level of the Ganges was quite high, which made the situation very dangerous. Despite efforts from her family and local villagers, Mausam could not be saved. Her father, Arvind Paswan, works hard to support the family, which includes two brothers and a sister along with Mausam.

After the accident, her family and villagers quickly started searching for her. They looked for about 10 to 15 hours before finally recovering her body from the river. The police arrived at the scene and sent the body for a postmortem examination.

This tragic event has left the entire village heartbroken. The family is in deep mourning, struggling to cope with the loss of their young daughter. Many villagers are also feeling the grief as they come together to support the family during this tough time.
