Tragedy Strikes Gopalganj Village as Fire Breaks Out While Heating Water
In a tragic incident on the first day of the new year, a mother and son lost their lives when a gas cylinder exploded in their home in the village of Jagdish Bantaria in the Bhor Thana area of Gopalganj. It is reported that the gas leak occurred due to improper closure of the kitchen gas. When the mother lit a match, a powerful explosion occurred, resulting in the death of the mother, Pushpa Devi, and her 5-year-old son, Gulshan Kumar.
Grief and Devastation Grips the Entire Village
The incident has left the entire village in mourning, with the sound of crying and wailing filling the air. The gas leak was so severe that it caused damage to the doors and windows of the house, and even the roof was badly affected. The body of the mother was sent to the Sadar Hospital for post-mortem, while the last rites of the child have already been performed.
Waiting for the Husband’s Return from Abroad
The husband of Pushpa Devi, Vinod Ram, works abroad and is currently waiting for his return. The news of the incident has been conveyed to him, and he is expected to arrive soon. The body of Pushpa Devi has been taken to Gopalganj from Gorakhpur for post-mortem. The entire village is now engulfed in grief and mourning after the tragic incident.
