The girl, Aarushi Jaiswal, was playing near her home when a speeding truck, driven by a drunk driver, lost control and struck her. After hitting Aarushi, the truck driver attempted to escape but crashed into a culvert a short distance away.

Following the accident, villagers quickly reacted and caught the driver and his helper, handing them over to the police. Unfortunately, Aarushi was taken to Jandaha Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.

As news spread, local residents blocked the Mahnar-Jandaha main road in protest. This led to traffic disruptions for several hours, as police from four different stations arrived to calm the situation.
