A serious road accident took place near Shivchandrapur Dhala in Begusarai, Bihar. This incident happened when a pickup truck, which was returning to Bhagalpur after picking up boring pipes from Banaras, was hit hard by a truck on NH-31. The impact was so strong that three people, including the driver, died at the scene.

Among the injured, four people are in critical condition and are being treated at a private hospital nearby. The victims included Mohd. Tanveer, Mohd. Kamal, and Mohd. Nawab, who were all from Birbana village in Bhagalpur. They were returning home after finishing their work in Banaras, which they had gone to complete a week earlier.

After the accident, the driver of the truck fled the scene, leaving behind the vehicle. Local villagers and passers-by quickly informed the police about the crash. The police team from Sahebpur Kamal police station arrived promptly to rescue the trapped victims and identified them using the pickup’s registration number and family details.

Police officials stated that they are actively searching for the truck driver who escaped. The condition of the injured individuals is serious, and the police have started a comprehensive investigation into the incident. They are also providing regular updates to the families affected by this unfortunate event.

This tragic accident has alarmed the local community, disrupting traffic on the National Highway for some time. The police are conducting ongoing operations to gather more information and apprehend the driver responsible for the crash.
