In Patna, a young man tragically lost his life in a serious bike accident late on Saturday night. The incident took place in the Shastri Nagar police area when the bike, moving at high speed, lost control and crashed into a divider near the Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple on Bailey Road.

The police have identified the deceased as Rahul Kumar, who was 27 years old and lived in Sheikhpura. The injured youth has been named Munna Kumar, aged 18, both of whom are residents of Mali Tola in the same area. Rahul died instantly from the impact, while Munna suffered severe injuries.

Witnesses reported that the bike was going so fast that both young men were thrown into the air upon hitting the divider. The force of the collision was so intense that the bike was damaged beyond repair, and its petrol tank exploded, spreading petrol across the road. This prompted onlookers to call the police immediately for help.

When the police arrived at the scene, they quickly took Munna to LNJP Hospital for treatment and sent Rahul’s body for a postmortem. The police have also seized the wrecked motorcycle for further investigation into the accident.

Munna’s family is worried as his condition is critical, and he cannot speak due to his injuries. They are unaware of where the two young men were heading when the accident occurred, adding to their distress during this difficult time.
