A tragic accident involving a school van led to the death of a student and injuries to others in Darbhanga.

A sad incident happened in Darbhanga where a young boy studying in Aman Academy School lost his life. The accident took place when a school van, carrying around six students, was coming back from school. As the van turned near Sita Petrol Pump on NH 27, a student fell out through a broken gate and suffered serious head injuries, resulting in his immediate death.

The student was identified as Mo Samar, a third-grade student. Along with him, another student was injured and is currently receiving treatment in a private hospital. After the tragic fall, the van driver panicked and fled the scene, leaving the children behind.

Local residents quickly stepped in to help, making sure the other children reached home safely on their bikes. People tried to contact the school management for assistance, but nobody picked up the calls. This led to frustration among the villagers, who then visited the school to express their anger.

The maternal uncle of the deceased boy voiced concerns about the poor condition of the school’s vehicles, claiming such accidents happen frequently. The police arrived at the scene to manage the situation and have taken the boy’s body for further investigation. The locals are demanding strict action against both the school management and the missing driver.

Police officials confirmed that they are looking into the incident. They stated that action will be taken once they receive an official complaint. The community is now calling for better safety measures for school transport to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
