This article provides updates on a train accident in Bihar, detailing the incident, response, and ongoing railway operations.

A train accident occurred late on Tuesday night in Bihar, causing concern among railway officials. Three bogies of a goods train derailed near Phaser station on the Deendayal Upadhyay railway section around midnight. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries from this incident.

The accident happened as the goods train was switching from the main line to a loop line. The rear three bogies came off the tracks at around 11:55 PM. Railway teams acted quickly, detaching the affected bogies and moving the rest of the train forward to maintain service.

Despite the derailment, train services continued without major disruption. Railway officials confirmed that the repair work began immediately, with a technical team arriving on site soon after the incident. By 8 AM on Wednesday, the bogies were back on the tracks, and the line was operational again.

This incident follows a previous close call in Bhojpur district, where a train nearly collided with machinery on the tracks. Fortunately, that situation did not result in any injuries or derailment.

Railway authorities are now focused on ensuring safety as they handle ongoing operations. They are monitoring the situation closely to prevent further accidents, especially during the challenging winter months.
