Two People Killed in Lightning Strikes in Nalanda

Two people lost their lives in Nalanda due to lightning strikes in the Chandī and Nagarnausa police station areas on Wednesday evening. Another youth was also injured in the incident, causing chaos among the relatives.

Details of the Incident

After the lightning strikes, screams and cries of the relatives echoed in both villages. Upon receiving information from the villagers, the police have taken custody of the bodies and sent them to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Incidents in Different Areas

The first incident occurred in the Pranachak village of the Chandī police station area, where 48-year-old Brijan Jamadar was working in the fields when he was struck by lightning. Similarly, in the Moniyampur village of the Nagarnausa police station area, a teenager named Arun Kumar lost his life due to lightning while bathing in the rain.

Medical Attention and Police Action

In the Ghosrawan village of the Pawapuri police station area, Ajay Singh’s 30-year-old son, Guddu Singh, was also struck by lightning. He was sent to Pawapuri Medical College for treatment, and his condition is currently critical. The station heads of Chandī and Nagarnausa informed that the police have registered cases and are taking necessary action.
