Tragic Accident on the Way Back from Patna
On the way back from Patna near the Peepara Mod on the Jamui-Chakai main road, an unknown vehicle hit and killed MR and his friend, who were returning at high speed. The deceased, identified as Mukul Milan from the Kanksa Thana area of West Bengal’s Bardhaman district, was working for a private pharmaceutical company in Deoghar. His friend, Shubham Kumar, was working for a private company in Durgapur. The two were very close friends.
Last Moments Together
The family members of the deceased revealed that two days before the accident, Shubham had traveled from Durgapur to Deoghar by train to meet Mukul. The two friends then set off on a bullet bike to Patna on Saturday. On Sunday night, when they were returning to Deoghar on the same bike, the tragic accident occurred near the Peepara Mod on the Jamui-Chakai main road, leading to the untimely death of both friends.
Police Investigation Underway
The Chandramandih police received information about the incident and immediately reached the scene. The police have taken possession of the bodies and the vehicle involved in the accident for further investigation. The Station House Officer, Subodh Kumar, revealed that the two young men riding the bike lost their lives due to the impact of an unknown vehicle. Efforts are being made to identify the unknown vehicle involved in the accident, and the bodies have been sent to the Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
