On Saturday, two empty coaches of a military goods train went off the tracks near Hajipur Junction. This incident could have been serious, but luckily, there were no injuries or fatalities reported.

The derailment happened just behind the Hajipur railway station. The train was moving through the station from Patori when the two coaches derailed and shifted to a different track.

For passengers and train operations, there was a temporary disruption in services due to the accident. Train schedules were affected while the authorities worked to restore normalcy and ensure safety.

Railway officials quickly arrived at the scene after learning about the derailment. An accident relief vehicle from Sonpur was also dispatched to help manage the situation.
