Tragic Road Accident in Katihar
In Katihar, two pilgrims lost their lives in a road accident. The accident occurred near Nawabganj in the Manihari police station area, where two friends, Krishna and Suraj, were riding on the same motorcycle. They were on their way to fetch Ganga water from the Manihari Ghat.
Collision with Oncoming Motorcycle
As they were riding, a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction collided with them head-on, resulting in injuries to all four individuals. The injured were taken to the Sadar Hospital for treatment, where unfortunately Krishna and Suraj succumbed to their injuries. The other two pilgrims have been referred to a higher center for better treatment.
Tragic Deaths of Pilgrims
Both pilgrims who were referred to the higher center in Sarsi, Purnia, also tragically passed away during the course of treatment. Former Deputy CM of Bihar and current MLA Tarakishor Prasad expressed his concern over the incident through a tweet, highlighting the tragic loss of lives in the road accident.
कटिहार में एक सड़क दुर्घटना में दो कांवरियों की मौत हो गई है। यह हादसा मनिहारी थाना क्षेत्र के नवाबगंज के पास हुआ था, जहां मोटरसाइकिल की टक्कर में चारों घायल हो गए। उन्हें सदर अस्पताल लाया गया, जहां दोनों का इलाज होते हुए उनकी मौत हो गई। दो कांवरियों को हायर सेंटर रेफर किया गया था, लेकिन उनकी भी मौत हो गई। इस घटना पर बिहार के पूर्व डिप्टी सीएम तारकिशोर प्रसाद ने चिंता व्यक्त की है।
