Two-three grams of brown sugar wrapped in a paper packet were found in possession of both suspects during a search. During interrogation, the accused claimed that they were supplied with brown sugar by a youth from Deoghar and a person from Bhagalpur, who operated in the Simarjor area and its surrounding regions. The names of the two accused who supply brown sugar, Abhishek and Ramji, have been provided to the police.
