Unknown Criminals Open Fire on Coal Loader Ravi Ram in Kanka Ghar Area, Khalaari Police Investigating
On Saturday morning at 8:30 am, unidentified criminals opened fire on coal loader Ravi Ram near the Kanka Ghar area of Khalaari police station. They fired five to six rounds at him, but luckily Ravi escaped unharmed. According to reports, Ravi was on his motorcycle heading to the Kanka Coal Dump to load coal when three criminals, who had already set up an ambush on the dirt road near the Kanka Ghar, fired at him with a pistol. One bullet hit Ravi’s mobile phone, which was in his pants, while the other missed him as he ran towards the Damodar River. The criminals continued firing at him from behind, but Ravi managed to reach a safe place and informed his acquaintances about the incident by calling from his employer’s office. The criminals fled after the incident. Khalaari police and CISF personnel arrived at the scene and investigated the matter. As a result of the incident, the coal lifting project was completely shut down through road sales, although the Kanka Ghar was kept open by the CCL. However, truck drivers are afraid to transport empty or loaded coal vehicles through the area. It is reported that this incident was carried out by a criminal group associated with coal traders or an active extremist organization involved in extortion from coal businesses. After this incident, there is a sense of fear among the employees of Kanka Ghar and coal traders.
