The accident occurred when a Fortuner collided with a Renault Duster near the Sadar police station area. What started as a minor crash quickly turned violent, with Rajeev attacking two young men from the Duster with a knife, escalating the situation dramatically.

Unfortunately, one of the victims, Chandrashekhar Kumar, succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital. His friend, Manish Kumar, was also hurt badly and is currently being treated. The police registered a case on December 25 and began their investigation.

A special team was set up to handle this serious matter, and they used CCTV footage to track down Rajeev. Upon questioning, he admitted to the crime. It has been found that he has a criminal history, with several serious charges against him, including attempted murder.
