Protest by villagers in Jahanabad

Villagers in Damuha village of Kakko block in Jahanabad, Bihar, protested by putting a lock on the middle school. They did not allow the teachers of Damuha Middle School to open the school. The villagers have demanded that the school be converted into a high school, as they were assured earlier. However, instead of upgrading the school, a high school was built in another village.

Assurance not fulfilled

The villagers claim that they were given assurance that Damuha Middle School would be converted into a high school. However, this promise was not fulfilled and a high school was built in a different village instead. This has led to frustration and anger among the villagers, prompting them to take this action of locking the school.

Demands of the villagers

The villagers are demanding that their assurances be fulfilled and Damuha Middle School be converted into a high school as promised. They believe that this will provide better educational opportunities for the students in their village. The lock on the school will remain until their demands are met.

Impact on education

This protest and the lock on the school have disrupted the education of the students in Damuha village. With the school closed, the students are unable to attend classes and continue their studies. The villagers hope that their actions will bring attention to their demands and lead to a resolution that benefits the education of their children.
