Violent Clash in Jharkhand Village Leaves Three Injured

In a violent incident in the Mednipur village of Lakshmipur Thana area in Jamui, Jharkhand, three members of the same family were injured on Monday morning in a land dispute. The injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The injured have been identified as residents of Mednipur in the Lakshmipur Thana area.

Attack on Family Members

According to Mahesh Paswan’s wife, Manorama Devi, her husband was working in the fields on Monday morning when their neighbors, including Upendra Mandal, Golu Mandal, and Shivam Mandal, attacked him with sticks. When she tried to save her husband, she was also attacked, along with her daughter. The neighbors then attacked them with swords when they protested, injuring Mahesh’s hand and others.

Medical Treatment and Police Investigation

After the incident, local residents helped the injured family members and took them to Lakshmipur Hospital for treatment. Due to the seriousness of their injuries, they were later referred to Sadar Hospital for better treatment. The Lakshmipur Thana in-charge, Alok Kumar, has stated that they have received information about the incident and all injured parties have been sent to the Sadar Hospital for treatment. Legal action will be taken based on the application submitted.

Tension in the Village

Following the incident, tension has escalated in the village between both parties. Local residents fear that another violent clash could occur at any time. However, the police are closely monitoring the situation to prevent any further escalation of violence in the village.
