Voting in Four Lok Sabha Seats of Jharkhand

Voting is currently underway in the four Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand ★Giridih, Dhanbad, Ranchi, and Jamshedpur. A total of 93 candidates are contesting in these four seats. The Governor of Jharkhand, Draupadi Murmu, cast her vote at booth number 16 in Ranchi. There are a total of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand, with 7 seats having already gone to polls.

Tough Competition Among Candidates

There is a tough competition among the candidates in these four seats. Ranchi Lok Sabha seat has over 21 lakh voters. The main contest here is between the BJP and Congress. BJP has fielded the current MP, Sanjay Seth, while Congress has shown faith in the young face Yashaswini Sahay. The Ranchi Lok Sabha seat has been under BJP’s control for the past two terms, with Subodh Kant Sahay of Congress winning in 2009.

Remaining Phases of Voting

Today, in the sixth phase, voting is taking place in 4 seats. The final phase will see voting on June 1st in 3 seats. The remaining Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand will have their turn in the upcoming phases. The candidates are leaving no stone unturned to secure victory in these crucial elections.

झारखंड में चार लोकसभा सीटों पर वोटिंग शुरू हो चुकी है। इन चार सीटों पर कुल 93 उम्मीदवार मैदान में हैं। रांची लोकसभा सीट पर भाजपा और कांग्रेस के बीच मुकाबला है, जिसमें भाजपा के संजय सेठ और कांग्रेस की यशस्विनी सहाय उम्मीदवार हैं। रांची में वोटिंग के बदले राज्यपाल सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने बूथ संख्या 16 पर मतदान किया। इस सीट पर अधिकांश मतदाताओं की दिया है।
