First Phase of Voting in Jharkhand
The voting for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections and the second phase in Jharkhand is currently underway. By 9 am, 11.68% of the votes had been cast in the state. The highest turnout was in Hazaribagh with 12.04%, followed by Chatra with 11.43% and Koderma with 11.56% voting.
By-Election in Gandey
In the Gandey by-election in Jharkhand, 24.02% of the votes had been cast by 11 am. Former CM Hemant Soren’s wife is contesting against BJP’s Dilip Verma for this seat, which was vacant after the resignation of JMM MLA Sarfaraz Ahmad.
Protest Against Minister in His Village

Electoral Contest in Gandey
Voting is taking place for the Gandey assembly seat alongside the Lok Sabha elections in three constituencies of Jharkhand. Former CM Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Murmu Soren is the candidate for the India Alliance in Gandey. Congress has fielded KN Tripathi in Chatra, while Jayprakash Patel is contesting from Hazaribagh on a Congress ticket. India Alliance has given the ticket to Malle in Koderma.
लोकसभा के लिए देश में पांचवें और झारखंड में दूसरे चरण की तीन सीटों पर सुबह 7 वोटिंग जारी है। प्रदेश में सुबह 9 बजे तक 11.68% मतदान हुआ। इसमें सबसे ज्यादा हजारीबाग में 12.04% वोटिंग हुई है, जबकि चतरा-11.43%,और कोडरमा 11.56% वोटिंग हुई। गांडेय से.गांडेये सीट पर सुबह 11 बजे तक 24.02% वोट डाले गए हैं। इसके साथ ही, झारखंड में तीन लोकसभा क्षेत्र में मतदान के साथ ही गांडेय विधानसभा में उपचुनाव के लिए मतदान हो रहा है। गांडेय विधानसभा सीट पर पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन की पत्नी कल्पना मुर्मू सोरेन इंडिया गठबंधन से उम्मीदवार के रूप में उतरी हुई हैं।
