Water Crisis in Hiranyparvat
Residents of Talahatti in Bihar Sharif have been facing a water crisis at the northern edge of the mountain for the past 15 days. Due to technical faults, the main pipeline supplying water to the Hiranyamandir on the mountain is leaking, causing inconvenience to the residents who have to collect water in buckets to quench their thirst.
Dry Plants in Bajrang Vatika
In Bajrang Vatika on Hiranyaparvat, plants are withering due to lack of water. The surrounding plants are also suffering damage. The Hiranyeshwar Dham on the mountain, where a temple is located, sees a large number of devotees visiting daily for prayers. However, they are facing difficulties as water supply has been disrupted for the past 15-20 days.
Water Supply Issues for Residents
Residents Munni Devi and Vijay Prasad of Talahatti mentioned that although pipes have been laid up to their homes, water supply is irregular. This forces them to fetch water from one end of the mountain to the other multiple times a day, disrupting their routine. The City Manager of Bihar Sharif Nagar Nigam, Vinay Kumar Ranjan, is unaware of the situation but assures that the water crisis will be resolved soon.
Challenges Faced by Devotees
Devotees visiting the Hiranyeshwar Dham temple are also struggling due to the lack of water supply. The priests are witnessing a decrease in the number of visitors as the inconvenience continues. While the authorities are providing reassurance, the situation remains challenging for both residents and devotees on Hiranyaparvat.
