Weather Conditions in Patna
According to the Patna Meteorological Centre, alerts have been issued for thunderstorms in some places in southern parts of the state, with wind speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. In the northern districts, alerts have been issued for thunderstorms and lightning at speeds of 50-60 kilometers per hour. The weather in the state is currently normal, with more rainfall expected in northern Bihar compared to southern regions.
Stay Safe During Changing Weather
The weather department has forecasted moderate thunderstorms and rainfall in districts like Begusarai, Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Jamui, and others. People are advised to seek shelter in solid buildings, stay away from tall trees and power poles, and farmers are advised to avoid going to their fields. The weather is expected to remain unsettled until May 12, with alerts for thunderstorms in many areas and precautions advised by the weather department.
