**Police Arrests Female Liquor Smuggler**
In Bihar, despite a complete ban on alcohol, liquor smugglers continue to find new ways to carry out their illegal activities. However, the Bihar police has been successful in exposing the liquor mafia. Recently, in Rajauli check post of Nawada district, the police apprehended a female smuggler. During a search operation on a bus, the team from the Prohibition and Excise Department arrested a female smuggler with foreign liquor and beer.
**Arrest and Seizure of Liquor**
According to information received, the Prohibition team was tipped off about the female smuggling gang involved in trafficking liquor on a bus. Acting on the tip-off, the Superintendent of Prohibition Arun Kumar Mishra directed a thorough check and search operation on a bus named Shri Siyaram Rath coming from Jharkhand. During the intense search, a woman wearing a burqa was arrested with bags full of liquor.
**Details of the Smuggler**
The arrested female smuggler was transporting the liquor heap from Kodarma to Bihar Sharif. She was identified as Ruby Khatoon, the wife of Mo. Irfan residing in Chhaju Mohalla in the Bihar Sharif area of Nalanda district. A total of 30 bottles of foreign liquor were seized from her possession, including six bottles of whiskey and 24 bottles of beer. The total quantity was reported to be 16.5 liters.
**Police Crackdown on Liquor Smuggling**
Despite the ongoing crackdown on liquor smugglers by the local police, criminals continue to find new ways to carry out their illegal activities. The enforcement operation is being led by Deputy Inspector Pintu Kumar against liquor smuggling. Along with Assistant Deputy Inspector Rakesh Kumar and Female Constable Jigyasa Kumari, other officials are also involved in the operation.
