Woman Constable Pays Tribute
A woman constable in Motihari was seriously injured after falling from the roof. Other staff members from the police station immediately took her to Sadar Hospital. Due to her critical condition, she was then transferred to Rahmaniya Medical Center, where she unfortunately passed away during treatment.
Incident Details
The deceased constable was identified as Rani Kumari, who was on duty at the polling center. After finishing her duty, she went to the roof to dry clothes. Unfortunately, she slipped and fell straight to the ground from the third floor. It is worth mentioning that she had gotten married just three months ago.
Tribute and Investigation
After the woman constable’s body arrived at the police line, DM Saurabh Jorwal and SP Kantesha Mishra paid tribute to her. All police personnel also gave her a guard of honor. SP Kantesha Mishra mentioned that a UD case has been registered at the police station and an investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of her death.
Support and Assistance
The police officers assured that any assistance from the government will be provided promptly to the family of the deceased constable. The entire department mourned the loss of their colleague and paid their respects to the woman constable who tragically lost her life in the line of duty.
