In Bhagalpur, a woman died due to getting electrocuted when she was stepping out of her room. A live wire was touching the door, and electricity was flowing through the gate, which led to the woman’s death. The deceased, Amrita K, was the daughter of Yogendra Yadav from Budhiya village. Her marriage had taken place three years ago with Phago Yadav from Athpahara village in the Dhankund area. The family members were assured of compensation by the authorities.

After the incident, the police arrived at the scene and took the body into their custody for further investigation. The Station in-charge, Chandan Kumar, mentioned that the body would be sent for a post-mortem examination. The family members were promised compensation by the Panchayat Samiti member, Rahul Kulkarni, on behalf of the government.
