Woman Found Dead in Chand Thana Area
In the Baheriya village of the Chand Thana area, a woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances. The dead body was taken to Sadar Hospital in Bhabhua for postmortem, where the postmortem was conducted along with the dead body.
Allegations of Murder on In-laws
The woman’s father, Jayaram Gond, a resident of Saraiya village in the Chainpur Thana area, accused the in-laws of murdering his daughter. He mentioned that three years ago, his daughter Reema, also known as Pooja, got married to Anil Kumar Gond, the son of Rajendra Prasad Gond from Baheriya village in the Chand Thana area.
Signs of Assault Found on Body
Upon visiting the in-laws’ house with his colleagues, they found the dead body lying in the police station and the in-laws present there. Initially, the in-laws claimed that she died due to an electric shock. However, upon closer inspection, signs of strangulation and physical assault were discovered on her body.
Police Investigation Underway
The incident was reported to the Chand Thana police station. The police arrived at the scene and with the help of relatives, took the dead body to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The woman’s father also mentioned that his daughter had a one-year-old child, and he believes that her death was not accidental but a case of murder. The police are currently investigating the matter.
