The search was suspended due to darkness on Saturday evening and resumed on Sunday. The body of the missing youth was eventually found.
The Incident:
According to the villagers, a group of youths was partying near a poultry farm in Shahabad village when the police arrived. Upon seeing the police, the youth started running in different directions. A child from the village witnessed one of the youths jumping into the river while he was relieving himself near the riverbank. The local authorities initiated a search operation in the river to find the missing youth.
Family’s Distress:
The youth’s sweater was found on a separate path along the river, causing great distress to his worried family. The villagers also joined the search operation, with the SDRF team using two boats to search the flooded waters of the Sakri river. The youth had been missing for over 36 hours until his body was recovered on Sunday morning.
Alcohol Party in the Village:
Shahabad village falls under the jurisdiction of the Katrisarai police station, which is known for cyber fraud cases. The village has also been involved in such cases. In this particular incident, the police received information about some youths having an alcohol party near a poultry farm. The police arrived with a team and the youths started running in different directions. One of them jumped into the river to escape. The police are currently investigating the case.
नालंदा में शराब पार्टी कर रहे एक युवक ने पुलिस को देखते ही नदी में छलांग लगा दी। जिला प्रशासन और एसडीआरएफ की टीम ने युवक की तलाश में नदी में छापेमारी अभियान चलाया लेकिन वह नहीं मिला। रविवार को एक बार फिर से युवक की तलाश शुरू कर दी गई है। युवक की पहचान संजय लाल के पुत्र आशीष कुमार (23) रूप में हुई। ग्रामीणों के कहने पर जब पुलिस आई तो युवक इधर-उधर भागने लगे और एक युवक ने नदी में छलांग लगा दी। इसके बाद युवक की खोजबीन शुरू हुई है और उसकी लाश बरामद हुई है। इस मामले में पुलिस आगे की कार्रवाई कर रही है।
