Shocking Incident in Neura Thana Area of Patna
In a shocking incident near Neuraganj in the Neura Thana area of Patna, criminals shot a young man on Thursday evening and then fled the scene. Local police teams reached the spot upon receiving information and took control of the body for further investigation.
Victim Identified as Satyam Kumar
The victim has been identified as Satyam Kumar (22), son of Avadhesh Verma from Sikandarpur village in the Bihta Thana area. The news of his death has caused chaos among his family members. Satyam Kumar was returning home from Patna on his bike when he was shot in the abdomen.
Gunshot Wounds and Police Action
The criminals, who were already waiting and armed, shot Satyam Kumar as soon as they got the chance near Neuraganj, causing the fatal gunshot wound to his abdomen. Villagers informed the police, and the injured youth was rushed to a private hospital in Patna for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment.
Investigation Ongoing
Confirming the incident, DSP Pankaj Mishra stated that an unknown bike rider was shot and killed by unidentified criminals. The Patna FSL team is also investigating the case. The motive behind the murder is still unclear as investigations continue.
