Amrit Bharat Train Launch Date: Indian citizens who are enjoying the speed of Vande Bharat will now receive the gift of Amrit Bharat Express. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off two Amrit Bharat Express trains on Saturday. It is said that the common man and migrant workers can benefit the most from this train, which works on the push-pull technology.
AC and non-AC coaches: Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Monday that the new trains will have both AC and non-AC coaches. He inspected the first Amrit Bharat train in Delhi and said that it will help reduce travel time. He also shared the government’s complete plan for the Amrit Bharat train, which is to operate these trains across the country.
“We will run these trains for 4-5 months and see where improvements are needed. So far, the results have been better than our expectations. Like we have extended Vande Bharat trains to all states, these trains will also connect all states,” he said.
What is Amrit Bharat Express? It was previously called Vande Sadan. In terms of design, it is similar to the semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat, but with several changes. For example, it will also have general second-class coaches, allowing passengers to travel with unreserved tickets.
This train, with a total of 22 coaches, will have eight general second-class coaches and 12 three-tier sleeping coaches. It also includes two guard coaches. It is said that separate facilities have been included for the disabled and women. The trains can run at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour. The special feature is that passengers will experience less jerks compared to regular trains.
Route: Initially, Amrit Bharat Express will operate between Ayodhya and Delhi, and between Darbhanga and Delhi. The second train has arrived in South India. It will travel between Malda and Bengaluru. It is said that PM Modi can also flag off six Vande Bharat Express trains from Ayodhya.
