Chandigarh-Ajmer Vande Bharat Train: Soon, passengers in Haryana will be able to avail another Vande Bharat Express train. The Chandigarh railway station will be extended for the Vande Bharat train that travels between Ajmer and Old Delhi. It is being reported that the plan for operating this train up to Chandigarh will be announced after the program in Ayodhya on January 22.
Proposed Timetable: According to the information received, the operation of this train up to Chandigarh has been completed by the Railways. However, the announcement is awaited. A few days ago, the proposed timetable was also released. As per this plan, the train number 20977 will depart from Ajmer at 06:20 am, reach Ambala Cantt at 11:35 am, and reach Chandigarh from 12:00 pm to 12:00 pm.
Return Journey: Similarly, the train number 20978 will depart from Chandigarh at 3:30 am, reach Ambala Cantt, and then reach Delhi at 11:15 pm, finally arriving at Ajmer at night. It was estimated that the announcement for the operation of this train could be made after December 30, but the official date for train operation has not been announced yet.
Direct Rail Line from Ambala to Gurugram: The biggest advantage of the extension of the Chandigarh route for the Vande Bharat Express train will be the direct rail line between Ambala Cantt and Gurugram. Those who need to travel from Ambala to Delhi via Atalanta, Central Express, or other trains and then take the metro to Gurugram will no longer face this inconvenience with the operation of this train.
Convenience for Ambala to Gurugram Travelers: The operation of the Ambala to Gurugram train and the beginning of the journey for job professionals or business class passengers will be made easier with this train. Previously, their only option was to travel by bus or private railway stations, which was more time-consuming.
