Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, which is under construction, is expected to be completed by November. The first phase of 14 kilometers in the Delhi border will be completed by May, while the second phase from Loni border to Khekra in Baghpat district is expected to be ready by March.

The remaining nine phases will be completed in a phased manner by November. The construction of the expressway will reduce traffic congestion on the roads of East Delhi as it will provide access to five locations, including Akshardham and Signature Bridge.

The Urban Extension Road-2, from Faridabad to Delhi-Gurugram border, Dwarka and Najafgarh to Singh Border, is already 80% completed and is expected to be open between June and July. It will also connect with the IGI Airport, allowing vehicles coming from Singh Border to reach the airport without getting stuck in traffic jams.

The Delhi-Gurugram border, which is currently the biggest traffic congestion point, will finally get relief as the Dwarka Expressway, which bypasses the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway, will be completed before May. The opening of the 29-kilometer-long four-lane expressway will reduce the traffic pressure of 300,000 PCUs (Passenger Car Units) on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway.

The expressway starts from Shiv Murti Chowk in the Delhi border and enters the Haryana border through the means of the airport and Dwarka, ending at the Khedki Dausa Toll Plaza on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway. Vehicles will now be able to travel without stopping.

The flyover connecting Anand Vihar and Apsara Border will be completed by April. The opening of this six-lane wide flyover will provide relief from traffic congestion at two red-light intersections.

The underpass connecting Ring Road to Bhairav Road will also be completed by February 2024. After its opening, the traffic congestion at Pragati Maidan Tunnel will be reduced, and approximately 150,000 vehicles coming to New Delhi on Ring Road will be relieved from traffic jams.

The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway currently starts from Sohna, so one has to go through the entire Delhi and Gurugram. However, by 2024, Delhi will be directly connected to the expressway. For this purpose, a 60-kilometer-long connector is being constructed, which can be completed by August.

The expected completion dates for the projects are as follows:
★Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: May
★Delhi-Mumbai Connection: August
★Dwarka Expressway: May 2024
★Urban Extension Road: June.
