Delhi-Katra Green Field Expressway: 75% of work on Package 1 and 2 of the Delhi-Katra Green Field Expressway, starting from Nilothi village in Bahadurgarh, has been completed and it is expected to be open by March. Officials claim that service centers will be established on the expressway, similar to those found in foreign countries. These centers will provide facilities such as meals, vehicle maintenance, petrol stations, and restrooms with CNJ for charging electric vehicles (EV). Teams of ambulance, fire brigade, trauma center, and traffic police will be stationed on the expressway 24/7 to provide emergency assistance. Three such service centers will be established in Sonipat, near Rukhi, Nurankhera, and Chhavdi.

The cost of this project is Rs 39,000 crore, with construction of five out of a total of 21 packages taking place in Haryana. This 670 kilometer-long project has a total cost of Rs 39,000 crore, with the main highway being 570 kilometers long, the Greenfield highway from Nilothi to Gurudaspur being 397.712 kilometers long, and the Brownfield highway from Gurudaspur to Katra being 122.288 kilometers long.

The distance between Nakodar and Amritsar will be reduced to 99 kilometers. The expressway will make the journey from Delhi to Katra easier, benefiting those who visit Mata Vaishno Devi. The distance will be covered in six hours at a speed of 120 km/h. The traffic pressure on NH-44 in Sonipat, Delhi will be reduced.

New roads will be built in Chandigarh, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir. Connectivity to the Green Field Expressway will be available at five locations in Sonipat.
