Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is being constructed in the National Capital Region to provide direct connectivity and convenience to travelers. Several link roads are being built at various locations to facilitate this project. The link road from Faridabad to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is currently under construction and will be completed within three months. The Delhi section of the expressway will be ready in the next six months.
According to the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, this project has also set a world record, as the expressway will cross four metro lines at different locations. On Wednesday, he met with NHAI officials and BJP MP and Union Minister Krishnapal Gurjar in the Palla area of Faridabad, from where the link road will connect to Delhi’s DND flyover.
The construction of the link road from DND to Faridabad on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will cost around Rs. 7,000 crore. Additionally, Rs. 60,000 crore has been spent to strengthen the road infrastructure, with Rs. 5,000 crore being approved. The Minister stated that Dwarka Expressway will soon be dedicated to the public and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited for its inauguration.
The Minister of Road Transport and Highways also mentioned that the six-lane project from DND to Jaitpur, spanning 60 kilometers, will be completed by December. Although there is a time limit, the construction work will be completed within six months. This section starts from DND Maharani Bagh and passes through areas like Khizrabad, Batla House, Okhla Vihar, and Jasola Vihar in Delhi, reaching the Gurugram Canal and the Faridabad region. 73% of the construction work in the first phase of this section has already been completed.
दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे के माध्यम से यात्रियों को सीधी कनेक्टिविटी प्रदान करने के लिए दिल्ली और एनसीआर क्षेत्र में कई स्थानों पर लिंक सड़कों का निर्माण किया जा रहा है। फरीदाबाद से दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे लिंक रोड का निर्माण तीन महीने में पूरा हो जाएगा और दिल्ली वाला हिस्सा अगले छह महीने में तैयार हो जाएगा। इस परियोजना ने एक विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाया है, जहां एक्सप्रेसवे चार स्थानों पर मेट्रो लाइन को पार करेगा। डीएनडी से फरीदाबाद तक की लिंक रोड की लागत 7,000 करोड़ रुपये होगी। द्वारका एक्सप्रेसवे जल्द ही समर्पित किया जाएगा और उद्घाटन के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को आमंत्रित किया गया है। डीएनडी से जैतपुर तक का 60 किलोमीटर लंबा छह लेन परियोजना दिसंबर तक पूरा हो जाएगा। इस पहले चरण में 73 फीसदी निर्माण कार्य पूरा हो चुका है।
