The greenfield expressway, which will be connected to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via the Trans-Haryana Expressway, will span a distance of 86 kilometers. This highway has been built from Narnaul in Haryana to Nariyal in Rajasthan. NHAI is expected to spend approximately 1400 crore rupees on this project. It is said that the tender process for the construction has already begun.
Know the full route: This expressway will start from the railway station in Rajasthan and will span a length of 86 kilometers. It will be a 6-lane expressway. The expressway will start near Paniyala village, near Kotputli in Rajasthan, on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. The Trans-Haryana Expressway is currently submerged near the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway.
Benefits to several states: A gateway has been created in Delhi for those traveling from Ambala to Mumbai. Due to heavy traffic in Delhi, it takes an additional 1.30 to 2 hours to reach Mumbai. After the construction of this expressway, there will be no need to go to Delhi to travel to Chandigarh, Tarbooze, Punjab, or Ambala from Mumbai. People will be able to connect to the proposed Alwar-Kotputli-Ambala Expressway via the Trans-Haryana Expressway and travel directly on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. This expressway could save people 3 to 4 hours of travel time from Ambala to Mumbai. Additionally, this expressway will reduce the load of travelers on the Delhi-Mathura Road. Not only that, but travel time between Mumbai and states in northern India will also be reduced.
