New Town Railway Station in Faridabad city of Haryana is undergoing a makeover along with Ballabgarh and Palwal railway stations. Additionally, the construction of a railway overbridge at Janoli railway level crossing will also begin. The inauguration of these projects will be done remotely by the Prime Minister on February 26th. The new buildings at all three railway stations will benefit thousands of passengers.

Located in the heart of the city, New Town Railway Station only accommodates EMU trains. The station serves employees working in industrial areas and travelers going to Sadar Bazaar and various markets in Delhi. However, there is a severe lack of passenger amenities at the station. Station Superintendent Sanjay Raghav highlighted the absence of waiting rooms, proper toilets, and adequate buildings for railway employees. To address this, the railway is investing 15 crore rupees to construct a new building at the station and also plans to build new structures at Ballabgarh Railway Station.

On February 26th, screens will be installed at Ballabgarh Station. Kumar Ghanshyam, the station superintendent, announced this initiative along with the construction of a new building at Palwal station. The current building at Palwal station is quite old, and a cost of 15 crore rupees is estimated for the new structure. Furthermore, an overbridge will be constructed at the Janoli level crossing near Palwal Railway Station, enhancing accessibility to Baghola and Agra highways.
