Ghaziabad to Develop Four Model Roads under Harit Sadak Yojana
The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation is preparing to develop four main roads of the city as models under the Chief Minister Harit Sadak Avsanrachna Vikas Yojana (Urban). Emphasis will be given to greenery on both sides of the roads, and flower pots will be hung on the dividers. The estimated cost for the development of these four roads is 15 crore rupees.
Identification of Four Main Roads for Model Development
The Urban Development Department recently directed the corporation to identify four main roads for model development under the Chief Minister Harit Sadak Avsanrachna Vikas Yojana (Urban). A review meeting was held at the government level to expedite the work on these roads. The construction department of the corporation has marked the four main roads as per the government’s orders, and the preparation of the model is being undertaken.
Approval and Tendering Process
The model of the roads will be sent to the Urban Development Department for approval in a few days. Once approved, tenders will be issued. It is expected that the model of the roads will be ready by February. The identified roads for model development include the road from the Air Force Station to Sheshnag Dwara, Mohannagar Bus Stand to Mohannagar Chowk, Raj Nagar Extension Chowk to the elevated road, and the elevated road to Hindon Vihar Metro Station.
Green Initiatives and Safety Measures
As part of the model development plan, the corporation aims to make the identified roads free from encroachments and street vendors. Parking of autos and e-rickshaws will also be restricted. Greenery will be enhanced on both sides of the roads, with hanging pots on the dividers. Footpaths will be constructed for the safety of pedestrians, and proper lighting arrangements will be made. The development of these model roads will not only improve the city’s infrastructure but also contribute to a greener and safer environment.
गाजियाबाद शहर की चार सड़कों को मुख्यमंत्री हरित सड़क अवसंरचना विकास योजना (शहरी) के तहत मॉडल बनाने की योजना बन रही है। इसके तहत गमले लगाए जाएंगे और हरियाली को बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा। इसके लिए 15 करोड़ रुपये की लागत आने की उम्मीद है। नगर विकास विभाग ने पिछले दिनों मॉडल बनाने का निर्देश दिया है और शासन के आदेश पर निगम के निर्माण विभाग ने इस काम को शुरू कर दिया है। इसके अलावा गाजियाबाद में अन्य सड़कों को भी मॉडल बनाने की योजनाएं चल रही हैं। इसके साथ ही गाजियाबाद नगर निगम ने पौधों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए भी कदम उठाए हैं। इसमें सड़कों के किनारे पौधे लगाए जाएंगे और दिवाइडर पर हैंगिंग पॉट भी लगाए जाएंगे। इसके साथ ही सड़कों पर फुटपाथ बनाए जाएंगे और रोशनी की व्यवस्था भी की जाएगी।
